Why we built it
B2bTMSAdmin was built as a Transport Management System (TMS) admin dashboard for trucking companies to manage load dispatch, drivers, fleet, billing, and reporting. It works alongside a companion mobile app, TMSDriver, to cover end-to-end operations — admins create and assign loads, drivers update status and capture proof of delivery from their phones, and everything syncs live through a shared backend.
The problem it solves
Trucking companies have to coordinate loads, drivers, trucks, customers, invoices, settlements and expenses at the same time. When dispatch, billing and driver updates live in separate places, the office loses sight of where loads are and what has been delivered. A single system shared by the office and the drivers keeps every load, status update and proof of delivery in one place.
Benefits & impact
Admins track loads in real time on a map, manage drivers and fleet — including creating real login accounts for drivers — manage customers, and dispatch loads by assigning a driver and truck. Billing covers customer invoices and driver settlements, alongside expense tracking, team and role management for admins, dispatchers and accountants, and analytics and reports.
Scaling it further
The platform runs on Next.js with Supabase — Postgres with Row Level Security and Supabase Auth — so authenticated, role-based access is enforced at the data layer. The React Native driver app shares the same Supabase backend, so more drivers, trucks and loads can be added on the same data model.
Future features
Potential future directions include deeper analytics and reporting, expanded dispatch and route planning, additional billing and settlement workflows, and more integrations for trucking operations.
